Singaporean tourist jailed in Aus for fatally running over backpack thief

A Singaporean tourist, Lincoln Ng Jing Kai, has been sentenced to 5 years and 9 months in Australia for fatally running over a man who stole his backpack in Perth in May 2024. Kai chased the thief, who was riding an e-bike, in his car before fatally running him over. The sentence has been backdated to May 2024.
