Folk singer Sharda Sinha, widely known for singing 'Chhath Puja' songs, passed away at the age of 72, her family announced. She was undergoing treatment and was in critical condition in AIIMS. Earlier, her son Anshuman said PM Narendra Modi inquired about her health and assured support. Sharda Sinha had been battling blood cancer for several years, claimed reports.
