Singer Tyla, who wore a Balmain dress with sand and micro-crystal studs pressed onto the fabric, was lifted up the stairs at the Met Gala by a group of men. The dress was shaped by a plaster cast of her own bodice. "I'm wearing sand, basically, the sands of time. We really wanted something out of the box," she said.
