Nestled on the border with Bangladesh, in the Habibpur region of Malda district, lies a solitary station – Singhabad. Called the "last station in India," Singhabad today has one fact that sets it apart from many others – no trains actually stop here anymore. It once used to connect India and Bangladesh but today there are no trains here.
