Ceasefire in the Sino-Indian War was declared by China effective November 21, 1962, in the month-long war which began on October 20. The war began after two major attacks by China in the disputed Aksai Chin region in response to PM Jawaharlal Nehru's directions to tackle Chinese border incursions on October 12. Arunachal Pradesh was the other disputed region.
