The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls began in Karnataka on Tuesday. A total of 59,050 booth level-officers (BLOs) will distribute enumeration forms to residents and undertake house-to-house visits until July 29. Karnataka Chief Electoral Officer Anbukumar said revision will cover over 5.5 crore electors across the state. The final electoral rolls will be published on October 7.
