An SIT probing alleged donation theft at Ayodhya Ram Temple identified temple employee Avinash Shukla as prime accused, citing the strongest evidence against him. The preliminary report said that around 70 thefts took place over 40 days from devotees' offerings. The report stated evidence against him was supported by CCTV footage, recovery records, bank account analysis and witness statements.
