To preserve the sanctity of Ram Tirath Temple in Amritsar, the then SAD-BJP government constructed a magnificent temple at a cost of ₹115 crore, which was opened to the public in 2016. Nearly a decade without maintenance has left the temple's sanctum sanctorum plagued by water leakage and in urgent need of repair.
