SEBI has discovered a 'research analyst', registered with the regulator, who wasn't actually offering investment advice but was running a 100-sq-ft grocery store in Madurai. SEBI revoked Purooskhan's license after his registration number was mentioned on optionresearch.in, a website promising "sure shot" calls with zero risks and assured 2x returns. Purooskhan said his number was being misused.
