Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman chaired a pre-Budget consultation meeting in Delhi with finance ministers of states and union territories ahead of the Union Budget for 2026–27. The meeting was also attended by CMs of Delhi, Goa, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Meghalaya and Sikkim. Fiscal priorities, economic challenges and policy measures were key points discussed during the meeting.
