Sixth man to walk on moon dies aged 85

The sixth man to walk on the moon, astronaut Edgar Mitchell, died on Thursday at the age of 85 years in Florida. As part of the Apollo 14 mission in 1971, he worked over nine hours on the Moon's surface. Mitchell and Apollo 14 commander Alan Shepard Jr set the record for the longest lunar stay time at 33 hours.
