Sjoerd Marijne quits as Indian women's hockey team chief coach

Indian women's hockey team's chief coach Sjoerd Marijne has revealed that the bronze medal match against Great Britain at Tokyo Olympics was his last assignment with the side. The 47-year-old Dutchman declined a contract extension offer by Sports Authority of India (SAI) due to personal reasons. He hinted that the team's analytical coach Janneke Schopman may take over his role.
