Skyroot Aerospace in talks to raise ₹2,850 cr after Vikram-1 launch

Skyroot Aerospace is in advanced talks to raise $280-300 million (₹2,600-2,850 crore) from Fidelity and Benchmark, valuing the startup at $2.8-3 billion. The deal could mark Benchmark's first India investment, after backing Uber and Twitter. Skyroot's funding prospects have improved sharply following the successful launch of Vikram-1, India's first privately developed orbital launch vehicle.
