The Delhi government has announced the development of a skywalk to connect Qutub Minar and the metro station for increasing tourist footfall to the heritage site. This will be developed as part of the Delhi government's allocation of ₹10 crore to develop the tourism potential of the state. Notably, the monument is already listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
