Sleep is the most vulnerable point in life: Neuroscientist Nikolay
NYU neuroscientist Nikolay Kukushkin said on the podcast that every animal with a nervous system, even sea slugs, sleeps. "It's the single most vulnerable point about your entire life. And yet everybody has it," he said. Sleep appears to be about memory, weakening unused brain connections overnight so important ones stand out, he explained.
