Smart glasses sales double in China in 2026

China's smart glasses sales more than doubled in the first eight months of 2026, as per the Ministry of Commerce. ECG monitors rose 75%, action cameras grew 27%. Service retail sales climbed 4.9%, outpacing goods. Rural retail grew 2.3%, faster than urban areas. Petroleum sales dropped 6.1% amid rising new energy adoption.
