Snap Inc, which owns messaging app Snapchat, has hired Eric Young as Senior Vice President of Engineering. Young, who previously worked as an engineering head for Google, will oversee the core infrastructure for Snap. He'll also lead efforts to improve Snap's ability to target and measure ads on Snapchat. Earlier, Snap hired Rob Wilk, ex-head of advertising at Microsoft.
