Snap on Tuesday launched its first augmented reality glasses, Specs, for consumers costing $2,195 (over ₹2.07 lakh) each. The glasses can overlay digital content onto the users' view of their real environment, fetch AI-powered answers, and let viewers stream content and use a virtual whiteboard. Earlier, Snap spun off Specs into a new subsidiary to focus on the glasses.
