Snapchat is removing the 'speed filter' from the platform which displays users' current speed and was involved in multiple lawsuits relating to accidents. Earlier, the Ninth Circuit Appeals Court in the US had ruled that the company can be sued for its role in a fatal car accident. Snapchat-parent Snap said it had previously disabled the filter at driving speeds.
