Snapdeal invests ₹390 crore in FreeCharge

Snapdeal's parent company Jasper Infotech has invested ₹390 crore in digital payments platform FreeCharge, according to Registrar of Companies filings. The fresh funds follow a special resolution passed in December, where FreeCharge increased its authorised share capital from ₹6 crore to ₹1,006 crore. Founded in 2010 by Kunal Shah and Sandeep Tandon, FreeCharge was acquired by Snapdeal in 2015.
