Online giant Snapdeal has raised $627 million from Japanese telecom and media group SoftBank Corp. Softbank announced that it will become Snapdeal's biggest investor, but refused to disclose how big the stake will be. The investment is the largest in India's e-commerce sector since July. Snapdeal has more than 25 million registered users and more than 50,000 business sellers.
