The company who owns Snicko has admitted that the reprieve given to Australia wicketkeeper-batter Alex Carey, during his maiden Ashes century was due to operator error. Carey was on 72* when he attempted a cut shot to a ball from Josh Tongue, which he later admitted having hit, despite being given not out on the field and by the TV umpire.
