A sniffer dog was killed and a CRPF jawan injured in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast during an anti-Maoist operation in Gumla district of Jharkhand, police officials said. The injured jawan was evacuated and airlifted to Ranchi for medical aid. He is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital, according to a statement from the Jharkhand Police headquarters.
