Snoring increases stroke risk: Experts warn

Doctors from Yatharth Hospital, New Delhi, warned that snoring could be early sign of potentially life-threatening stroke. "Sleep apnea increases risk of stroke by two to four times...many people mistake it for normal snoring," Dr Rajat Chopra said. It can be prevented by making lifestyle changes like maintaining blood pressure, avoiding smoking and alcohol, exercising regularly, and proper sleep.
