While addressing the World Economic Forum in Davos, Argentina’s President Javier Milei lauded free markets and criticised socialism. He said that socialism is a phenomenon that creates poverty and that free enterprise capitalism is the only tool to end hunger and poverty. While promoting free-market capitalism, he added, "I'm here today to tell you that the West is in danger."
