Japan-based SoftBank will invest €45 billion (over $50 billion) to build AI data centres in France over the next five years, the firm said on Sunday. The data centre is expected to deliver 3.1 GW of capacity and marks SoftBank's biggest investment in Europe so far. The company plans to expand its funding to €75 billion in the future.
