SoftBank is close to finalising a deal to lead a $300 million investment in the autonomous driving unit of China's Didi Chuxing, The Information reported. Softbank announced on Monday it would sell $41 billion in assets to help reduce its debt and fund a share buyback. Following the announcement, SoftBank's shares jumped 20% on Tuesday.
