A 48-year-old software engineer allegedly lost ₹6.33 lakh in an online dating fraud in Maharashtra's Thane, police said. The man had received a message from a number offering online dating. When he called the number, the accused made him allegedly pay ₹6,33,626 on some pretext or other. Meanwhile, police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the matter.
