Tesla's Co-founder and CEO, Elon Musk said on Tuesday that SolarCity, which the company acquired for $2.6 billion recently, will sell roofs integrated with solar panels. Musk said, “It’s a solar roof, as opposed to a module on a roof...it’s not a thing on a roof, it’s the roof.” Currently, SolarCity installs solar panels on the roofs of its customers.
