Some birds sang like a new day dawned during solar eclipse: Study

During the total solar eclipse on 8 April 2024, which lasted around four minutes, researchers documented changes in the behaviour of several bird species. Some species began singing their dawn chorus as sunlight returned, while others fell silent or remained unchanged. The study showed birds are extremely sensitive to light, showing that even brief darkness can alter birds' behaviours.
