Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar said that it is painful when some people "try to tarnish the image of India on foreign land". He was reportedly indirectly responding to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's remarks over Indian democracy made in London. Dhankhar added, "Person, who has the best interests of the country...will always speak about the strides that India is making."
