The 78-year-old chairperson of Congress Parliamentary Party (CPP) and Rajya Sabha MP, Sonia Gandhi, joined the INDIA bloc's protest against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral roll in Bihar staged at the Parliament premises' Makar Dwar. Gandhi was admitted to the hospital twice in the month of June after her health deteriorated, and was discharged after treatment.
