Sony has announced the incorporation of Sony AI to bring "world-class fundamental research and development with Sony's unique technical assets." Sony AI will initially work on three flagship projects focused on gaming, imaging & sensing and gastronomy. It will include robotics like Sony's robot puppy 'Aibo' which enables a web-based interface for programming actions.
