Sony announced it will begin calling for research proposals for the Sony Research Award Program on July 15, 2025. The Sony Research Award Program provides up to $100,000 in funds for pioneering research in certain areas, and is open for universities and research institutions such as government research institutes and nonprofit organisations in India, US, Canada, and 17 European countries.
