Kim Soo-hyun filed a complaint against late Kim Sae-ron's family lawyer, Bu Ji-seok, for spreading false assault claims against the actor. He claimed that Ji-seok abused his position and presented unsubstantiated claims as factual evidence during public appearances and spread misinformation about him. Comedian Kwon Young-chan has also been accused of spreading false accusations against the actor.
