Capitalmind Founder Deepak Shenoy responded to an X user who said poor people's contribution to every ₹100 in tax is "50% more" under NDA government as compared to the UPA government, saying it "sounds stupid". The user based his observation on attributing indirect taxes mostly to the poor. "Indirect taxes are paid...lot more by rich than the poor," Shenoy said.
