Sour fruits may trigger acidity

Several fruits may worsen acidity despite being considered cooling. Oranges, lemons and pineapple contain high citric acid that can trigger acid reflux and heartburn. Raw mangoes and sour grapes may also increase gastric discomfort. Guava with seeds can cause bloating. Experts advise limiting sour fruits if you suffer from indigestion or acid reflux.
