South Korea rolls out odd-even car policy amid energy concerns

South Korea has asked public employees to use their cars on alternate days starting April 8, based on odd-even number plates, to cut fuel use amid concerns over crude oil supplies due to the war in the Middle East. The previous five-day rotation, which has been in effect since March 25, will remain voluntary for the private sector.
