South Korea's central bank flags inflation risk from bonuses

South Korea's central bank has raised concerns that large performance bonuses at major tech companies could accelerate wage growth and increase inflationary pressures. While recent inflation has been driven largely by higher energy costs linked to the Iran conflict, the bank said underlying price pressures may persist. This comes amid sizeable bonus payouts at Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix.
