South Korean President Moon Jae-in has asked the US to fulfil North Korea's demand to formally declare an end to the 1950-53 Korean War. Jae-in added this would imply the US has ended its "longstanding hostile relations" with North Korea. The US has asked North Korea to give up its nuclear weapons before it declares an end to the war.
