South Korea's An San became the first archer to win three golds at a single Olympics after winning the individual gold on Friday at ongoing Tokyo Olympics. The 20-year-old defeated ROC's Elena Osipova 6-5 after a shoot-off in the final. Italy's Lucilla Boari won the bronze. Earlier, San won gold in both women's team and mixed team events.
