South Korean food and beverage major Lotte Confectionery has agreed to acquire Gujarat-based Havmor Ice Cream for ₹1,020 crore. "This decision was a very difficult one to make. It's a brand that we have nurtured with our team for over 73 years," Havmor Chairman Pradeep Chona said. Havmor operates parlours in 14 states and sells via 40,000 outlets.
