S&P raises India's outlook to 'positive', keeps rating at 'BBB-'

S&P Global Ratings has upgraded India's sovereign rating outlook to 'positive' from 'stable', citing robust economic expansion, policy stability and infrastructure investments. It, however, maintained India's rating at 'BBB-'. The rating agency said it could raise the rating if fiscal deficits narrow to reduce general government debt to below 7% of GDP on a structural basis.
