Space debris hits space station's robotic arm, leaves a hole

International Space Station's robotic arm Canadarm2 was hit by space debris that left a hole in it. A routine inspection uncovered the hole in a small section of the arm boom and thermal blanket. The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) and NASA engineers worked together to assess the damage and have determined the arm's performance remains unaffected.
