While rejecting Canadian PM Justin Trudeau's allegation that India is linked to Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar's killing, MEA said, "The space given in Canada to a range of illegal activities including murders, human trafficking and organised crime is not new." MEA added that it's a matter of deep concern that Canadian political figures have expressed sympathy for such elements.
