Space Station spins 180 degrees, flies backwards for Soyuz docking

The International Space Station (ISS) rotated 180 degrees and flew backwards to facilitate the docking of Russian Soyuz MS-27 spacecraft. NASA astronaut Don Pettit shared the video of the event online, which also captured green auroras swirling around the Earth. The Soyuz spacecraft carried NASA astronaut Jonny Kim and two Russian crewmates, who will spend eight months in space.
