Spanish environmentalist uses nets to capture water from fog
Spanish environmental technician Saul Oliva Cabrera is using nets to capture water from fog. The Fog Water Collectors, set up on Spain's Gran Canaria, extract water from clouds that come in from the Atlantic Ocean and stall on mountainsides. "Wind pushes fog into fine mesh nets. Tiny droplets condense...which then fall into the collector and flow into tanks," Cabrera said.
