Specially-abled men in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will soon be able to travel free on state-run buses, just like women passengers. Currently, they receive only a 50% concession. Announcing the move, AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said, "This decision ensures dignity and equal mobility for the specially-abled." The new scheme is expected to roll out shortly.
