Speaking at an event of Indian diaspora in Melbourne, Australian PM Anthony Albanese said he spent six weeks backpacking across India in 1991. "It was a fantastic experience. I learnt something very simple... if you want to truly understand India, get on a train," he said. Albanese added that wherever he went, he enjoyed delicious food and heard wonderful stories.
