SpiceJet has begun job cuts amid a shrinking aircraft fleet and mounting dues, The Economic Times reported. The initial measures include furloughs and unpaid leave, with over 500 employees likely to be affected in the first phase. The airline has also waived the notice period for around 62 engineers, while some employees have not been paid for three months.
